Buy 1 more: Shop and donate for the food bank

Two shopping carts full of donations: pasta, baby food, diapers, canned goods and sweets

On 5 December 2026 Rotaract Schwerin and the Wirtschaftsjunioren Schwerin will be at EDEKA in the Schlosspark-Center Schwerin from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the Buy 1 more campaign. The idea is very simple: when shopping, you add one extra product to your cart and donate it. That same evening, we will take all donations to the food bank, which will distribute them to people in Schwerin who urgently need them.

How you can help

  1. Select one or more required items in the store.
  2. Pay for the items at the checkout.
  3. Place your donation in the donation cart at our stand.
  4. We will take everything to the food bank that same evening.

What is needed most

  • Staple foodslike pasta, rice, coffee and canned goods
  • baby foodand diapers
  • hygiene products
