File storage and sharing
Teams work in shared folders, share files with clients via link, and sync across all devices.
Groupware
Calendars, contacts, and tasks run in one place instead of being distributed across multiple cloud services.
Process documents automatically
New files in defined folders trigger processes via n8n, such as storage in paperless ngx or data readout via AI.
AI assistant in the workspace
The Nextcloud Assistant can be connected to self-operated language models so that texts do not go to US clouds.

What it is not meant for
Nextcloud does not replace Microsoft 365 in every respect: If you rely heavily on Excel macros, Teams integrations or SharePoint workflows, you should carefully check the switch beforehand. And a self-operated system needs regular updates.

For file storage, calendar, contacts, video conferencing and collaborative editing of documents, yes. Not always for very specific Microsoft functions – we check this in advance on your actual processes.
Is Nextcloud GDPR compliant?

Nextcloud can be operated in such a way that all data remains on servers in Germany or with you. This is a good basis; authorizations, encryption and order processing must still be properly regulated.
How much does Nextcloud cost?

The software itself is free to use. Costs are incurred for servers, setup, migration and operation. Nextcloud GmbH also offers paid enterprise support, if you want it directly from the manufacturer.
Can Nextcloud work with AI?

Yes. The Nextcloud Assistant can summarize, translate or design texts and can be connected to language models operated locally or in Germany.
