Automation
AI agents
AI agents carry out multi-stage, recurring tasks independently — from planning through to execution — rather than simply automating individual steps. Simple cases are resolved, whilst complex ones are passed on to the team with the full context.

The problem
Simple automation reaches its limits as soon as a task requires several steps, decisions or access to different systems. Such tasks often remain manual because they cannot be squeezed into a rigid if-then rule.
The solution
An AI agent plans the necessary steps itself and carries them out independently — based on the connected systems. Simple cases are resolved, whilst complex ones are passed on to the team with the full context.
How AI agents works
From the initial request to the final result — with escalation if necessary.
Every action taken by an agent is recorded in a way that allows it to be traced.
Use cases
Taking on multi-stage tasks
Unlike simple automation, an agent plans the necessary steps itself.
Working with existing systems
The agent accesses linked programmes in order to complete a task.
Escalate only if necessary
Simple cases are dealt with independently, whilst complex ones are referred to the team with all the relevant context.
Tailored to individual needs
Each agent is tailored to a specific, recurring use case.
Remain transparent
Every action taken by an agent is logged and can be viewed.
Feature overview
Plans and acts independently
Breaks a task down into the necessary steps and carries them out
Access to connected systems
Works with the software already in use within the organisation
Escalation where necessary
Complex or unclear cases are referred to the team with all the relevant context
Tailored to individual needs
Each agent is designed for a specific, recurring use case
Fully documented
Every action is documented in a way that allows it to be traced
Technology & GDPR
Technology
AI agents run on the same infrastructure as automaisa Hub — the language model, automation engine and connected systems work together, hosted on servers in Germany.
GDPR & data sovereignty
Data processing takes place on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) is concluded with each client in accordance with Article 28 of the GDPR. Every action taken by an agent is recorded in a traceable manner.
