Blumenhaus am Pfaffenteich

Starting point

Telephone orders were handled exclusively by staff in the shop. In-person advice at Blumenhaus am Pfaffenteich is deliberately limited to fixed times (Wed–Fri 10 am–3 pm, Sat 10 am–1 pm) — calls outside this narrow window either tied up additional staff alongside their day-to-day work or went unanswered.

Approach & solution

Set-up of an AI telephone assistant by bettersorted, which answers incoming calls, takes orders for everyday bouquets, wedding, funeral and event flowers, and provides the caller with a unique order number at the end of the call.

Outcome

Orders now come in automatically via the assistant, including an order number for the caller. Customers can now contact the florist by telephone even outside the limited hours set aside for face-to-face consultations, whilst staff in the shop can carry on working undisturbed, rather than having to answer every call themselves.

Our specific contribution

1

Needs Analysis & Design

Configure which types of orders (everyday, wedding, funeral, event) the assistant should accept.

2

Technical specifications, including order number

Set-up of the telephone ordering service: every order placed by telephone is automatically assigned its own order number.

3

Support & Induction

Personal support for the team with any queries during and after the roll-out.

Setting up our AI telephone assistant with bettersorted was quick and straightforward. I’d particularly like to highlight the expert and friendly support. All our questions were answered clearly. Thank you very much for your professional support! I look forward to our continued collaboration."
