WINGS

Starting point

WINGS (Wismar International Graduation Services), the distance learning provider at Wismar University of Applied Sciences, used to manage student enrolment applications manually: Documents were submitted by post or email and checked and entered manually — with the associated administrative burden and risk of errors during data entry.

Approach & solution

Working together, we developed a multi-stage digital application assistant that replaces manual document processing. The application data entered is automatically transferred to the internal systems as an XML export, ensuring that the entire process is carried out digitally from start to finish.

Outcome

The administrative workload involved in managing applications has fallen significantly; manual data entry errors have been eliminated thanks to automated XML generation; and the entire process is now fully digital — including an improved experience for applicants.
